The SADF tools are available under the GPL license. You can download the C++ sources of the latest version of SDF3 with functionality for SADF graphs here. We recommend using gcc version 4.3 or higher to compile the C++ sources. A list of historical versions with updates regarding the SADF functionality can be found below.

Release Date Download Notes
27 September 2010 C++ Sources This release fixes a number of bugs. In addition, the conversion to POOSL models for simulation purposes with the sdf3print tool has been made more efficient. The sdf3verify-sadf tool is extended with some new features and the sdf3convert-sadf-fsmsadf tool is introduced for abstracting SADF graphs into FSM-based SADF graphs.
7 March 2009 C++ Sources This is a regular update of SDF3. No new features have been added, only some bugs have been fixed.
6 May 2008 C++ Sources Fixed a few minor bugs and included the sources of the sdf3analyze-sadf tool. In addition, the sdf3convert-csdf-sadf and sdf3convert-sadf-csdf tools have been added. Fixed a few inadequacies in some of the real-life example SADF graphs.
8 February 2008 C++ Sources Extended the XML specification format to support initial control tokens and extended all tools accordingly. Added the fix_scenarios feature to the sdf3transform-sadf tool. Removed a bug in the XML generation part of the sdf3transform-sadf and sdf3convert-sdf-sadf tools. This version excludes the sources of the sdf3analyze-sadf tool.
2 November 2007 C++ Sources First version incorporated in SDF3. Compared to earlier prototype version, termination problems that occurred for certain examples have been fixed and a bug in the analysis of the maximum buffer occupancy metric is corrected. This version excludes the sources of the sdf3analyze-sadf tool.
